Amman. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on joint collaboration between the National Agricultural Research Center- NARC and HASSAD Agritech Accelerator- HASSAD, to support entrepreneurs and small start-up projects through embracing their business within the Agricultural Innovation Incubator at NARC, in addition to the emerging projects working within HASSAD.
The Memorandum was signed by Dr. Nizar Haddad, the Director General of NARC and the Vice Chairman of the board of directors of HASSAD Mr. Ali Al Saadi.
Dr. Haddad captioned the technical support and consultations NARC will provide to the start-ups and emerging projects, that actually create solutions in many areas such as: sustainable agricultural production, smart agriculture, sustainable agricultural economy, techniques of food and livestock breeding.
Mr. Al Saadi said that HASSAD has a strong belief in the importance and value of agricultural research studies and their impact on the success of projects. He also elaborated on the role played by HASSAD building an encouraging environment to pick distinguished projects to help them become companies that are capable enough to grow and be an effective asset into the Jordanian economy
