NARC and JVA sign A Cooperation Agreement

A cooperation agreement was jointly signed between the National Agricultural Research Center (NARC) and the Jordan Valley Authority (JVA) within the project "Increasing the resilience of poor and vulnerable communities to the effects of climate change in Jordan through the implementation of innovative projects in water and agriculture in support of climate adaptation", which is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation funded by the Adaptation Fund.

This agreement is intended to enable NARC to operate and manage the new JVA research station. The main aim is to conduct research to reuse the reclaimed wastewater from the North Shouneh Treatment Plant. The implemented research is very important to reduce irrigation water wastage , to maximize the benefit and the safe reuse of reclaimed wastewater.
