Dr.Nizar Haddad ., the Director-General of the National Agricultural Research Center(NARC), during the ceremony to ink a Memorandum of Understanding ( MOU), with the Consulting Company for Poultry and Feeds, (Research Station), stated that NARC is striving for the private sector to adopt scientific research outputs and to implement them in agricultural, scientific and training fields such as poultry, ruminants, and fisheries, as well. According to Haddad, this can be achieved through the participatory and fruitful and constructive corporation, between the governmental and private sectors which will lead to enhancing frameworks of mutual understanding. Consequently, contributes to the development of scientific research as well as, the capacity building of workers in both sectors.
Haddad added that the MOU included several topics and strategic plans of which the most important are the exchange of technical expertise between the two parties and writing proposals for joint agricultural projects to be submitted to donors for funding. Haddad pointed to the technical, logistic and laboratory services between the two parties. in addition to the publication of mutual research results in scientific papers.
On his part, Eng Ehsan Musharbash the General Director of Consulting Limited Company for Poultry and Feed stressed on establishing bridges of trust and corporation with NARC in the fields of feed industry, feed concentrates and additives: in addition to devoting the company research station efforts to adopt and implement scientific research outputs of NARC towards achieving the sustainable agricultural development.
