Lavander Vally Development & Distillation of Essential Oils
Project's Owner: Nabil Al-Bakri and Ali Al-Fayez
The company works to introduce new agricultural species that are compatible with climate variables and need less productive inputs than other species and are resistant to agricultural pests and need less water than other plants.
The lavender plant was selected after planting and studying its needs for various production inputs and the extraction of essential oil by steam distillation. Chemical analysis of the essential oil resulting from the distillation process outside Jordan was carried out. It has been shown to have rare and high quality chemical properties. It can be used in pharmaceutical and cosmetic production.
This enables the farmer to move from the stage of agricultural production to the use of output as input for industrial production. The company is currently spreading the idea of cultivating lavender in cooperation with Jordanian farmers by plant cultivation to reach the equation of contract cultivation.
It aims to collect sufficient quantities to produce essential oil, so that we export the product outside Jordan to our partners in the European Union.
The National Agricultural Research Center (NARC), through the Agricultural Innovation & Entrepreneurship Incubator, seeks to introduce the product of Lavander Vally in the local market, by enhancing public and consumer knowledge of this distinctive product and by involving Lavander in relevant festivals and exhibitions.
The company's idea is to product these worms and spread awareness about their importance in our society and train farmers to raise them and benefit from their outputs.
Specialized in breeding, production and marketing of Red Wigglers and Vermicompost in Jordan
Red Wigglers worm (Eisenia Fetida) or what is known as Vermi-Compost worm is one of the most common types of worms in the production of Vermi-Compost and organic agriculture. It is 4-14 cm long and has a red or smaller color with rings. These worms have a great ability to grow and reproduce in an environment of decomposed organic matter that feeds on the worm and produces it in the form of organic fertilizer rich in elements necessary for plant growth, known as (Vermicompost). We provide technical support to anyone who wants to start a compost worm breeding project and produce Vermicompost and its derivatives.
Our joining the Agricultural Innovation & Entrepreneurship Incubator was an important step in the development of our project by benefiting from the experts and scientific competencies of NARC and facilitating our task in networking with the relevant authorities and facilitating our task in obtaining laboratory analyses to develop our products.
