Research Centers

Research centers are responsible for the following tasks:

Achieving the general objectives of the National Agricultural Research Centre within the geographical area in which it operates.

Develop and adopt agricultural technology appropriate to local conditions to achieve the optimal utilization of productive resources.

Circulate agricultural technologies transferred, adapted or developed to the relevant authorities.

Develop the skills of workers in the agricultural sector and hold training courses, conferences and specialized workshops.

Cooperate with local institutions to implement agricultural research programs in the geographical area.

Prepare the annual plan for the implementation of the work assigned to the Center and follow up on its implementation

Provide consultancy and technical services in the agricultural field in the territory.

Maintain and conserve plant and animal genetic origins.

Determine the priorities of agricultural scientific research in cooperation with the relevant authorities that serve the purposes of sustainable agricultural development in his region.
