the agricultural project involves cultivating tropical dragon fruit (pitaya) in all its different varieties. The project includes growing this plant in various ways and varieties, making it a locally attractive product for investors in plant-based agricultural production and home gardeners.
The project started two years ago with experimental stages involving rooftop and pot cultivation.
After observing the plant's high level of resilience and adaptability to the local climate, the project moved to the second, productive application phase. This phase involved propagating cuttings from the experimental phase and planting them on a 175-square-meter area using scientific methods for all existing varieties. Observations and characteristics of each variety were documented.
The results of both the experimental and application phases were encouraging in terms of productivity and resistance, prompting the decision to continue and expand the project.
