Tafila Agricultural Research Center
The Center was established in 2008 to operate as one of the research branches in the southern region of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, specifically in the Tafila Governorate of an agricultural nature. Throughout its work, the Center sought to achieve and implement the vision and objectives of the main center by implementing research projects in the Tafila Governorate and achieving the greatest benefit from the agricultural resources therein to achieve sustainable development and achieve development goals through cooperation and partnership with all governmental and non-governmental institutions and the local community in the governorate.

Research projects
Project Title: Hydroponics of lettuce plant using a special fertilizer solution
Funded by: The National Agricultural Research and Extension Center.
Implementation area: Aabour - Tafila Research Center

Project duration: A year.
Project Title: Cultivating cucumbers in multiple agricultural environments.
Funded by: National Agricultural Research Center (NARC)
Place of implementation: In a greenhouse at the Tafila Sons Association for Special Education, Wadi Zaid Tafila.
Project implemented by: Eng. Izz Al-Din Al-Atiwi / Eng. Alaa Al-Qaraan
Project duration: A year.
