Insights from the Eco Future Workshop at NARC

Dr. Khaled Abu Hammour, the Director general of the National Agricultural Research Center, inaugurated a workshop with farmers from Jordan, Palestine, and Greece to discuss agricultural challenges, particularly water, energy, food, climate change, and the environment, within the ""Eco Future"" project.

Dr. Abu Hamour emphasized that the Center aims to leverage scientific research and optimal use of water and natural resources to address these challenges. He highlighted the Center's cooperation with partners to empower Palestinian colleagues with best agricultural practices.

Dr. Abeer Al-Balawneh, national coordinator of the ""Eco Future"" project, noted that the workshop aims to find innovative solutions for common challenges faced by Jordanian and Palestinian farmers. These solutions focus on enhancing productivity, developing farmers' skills, improving living conditions and food security, and incorporating best practices through training programs.

Dr. Nikolaos Nikolaidis, general coordinator of the ""Eco Future"" project from Greece, praised NARC for its role in advancing scientific research, transferring knowledge and technology, and fostering collaborations with local and international partners.
